Our store is named for the Marguerites in my family, specifically my Nana Margarita...myself, Lisa Margarite, and my daughter, Margaret Rose. I chose the French spelling as an homage to our Mercure forebears. Specifically, my third Great Grandfather, Henri. He rode into Santa Fe history with the Fremont expeditions, married a local girl, and named their firstborn Margarita.
